Before March 23, 2010

Student: "Do you have any books like Diary of a Wimpy Kid?"

Me: "I can show you some funny books."

The student and I wander around the library looking at humorous titles. She eventually selects one and leaves the library semi-satisfied.

After March 23, 2010

Student: "I love Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Do you have a book like it?"

Me: "Certaintly! Have you read Big Nate?"

Student: "No."

Me: "Let me introduce you to Big Nate."

Student: "Awesome! Thank you!"
