It was a BOOK TRAILER DAY in the library

What's a BOOK TRAILER DAY? It is when I make sure I didn't forget to show must-see book trailers to all my students. I add the book covers to a slideshow (linked to the trailers). I press play and say, "Did you watch this one? What about this one? This one? This one? This one?" You get the idea. We spend the period watching the trailers and discussing the books. They spend the last five minutes placing the books on hold that they're interested in reading (most of the books are already checked out).

Fortunately, the Milk by Neil Gaiman

The Mischievians by William Joyce

Little Chicken's Big Christmas by Jerry and Katie Davis

Little Santa by Jon Agee

The Christmas Wish by Lori Evert and Per Breiehagen

Atlantis Rising by T.A. Barron

Ways to Live Forever by Sally Nicholls (not a book trailer)

Floors by Patrick Carman

Babymouse by Jennifer and Matthew Holm

Friends by Eric Carle
