A Blendspace lesson about the one and only Kate DiCamillo

Holy bagumba! Holy unanticipated occurrences! Two-time Newbery Medalist Kate DiCamillo is visiting with my students later in the week. In order to review and extend what we've discussed while preparing for the great Kate's visit, each class will spend twenty-five minutes watching the following videos and exploring the websites.

If you're not using Blendspace in your school or library, maybe my lesson will inspire you to make one for a future lesson. Here is the direct link to the lesson.

  1. Most excellent inspiration for using Blendspace... Thank you!! Have a fantastic author visit, happily living vicariously...

  2. Holy bagumba, what a great interview. I also love how you mentioned my writer friend Ame Dykeman and her fun story TEA PARTY RULES!
