Here in AZ it's still been over 100 degrees this first week of October. Although, I have to say, 43 degrees does sound pretty chilly. Liked hearing the geese in the background, too.<br />Last weekend I watched Jack Gantos' Newbery medal acceptance speech, and that got me thinking about trying to read all the Newbery winners (at least- and possibly the Honor books as well).
