The Genius Files:Mission Unstoppable
Welcome to Watch. Connect. Read. This is a space for my students, librarians, teachers, and book lovers. I will share book trailers and information about new and upcoming children's books.

It took nearly two hours to select the right trailer for this inaugural post. I decided on Dan Gutman's The Genius Files: Mission Unstoppable for two reasons:
1. It is one of the best book trailers I've seen this month.
2. He is visiting my school library next month.
On sale: 1/25/11
Place a hold at your public or school library . Please support your local Indie bookshop.
You can read 60 pages of The Genius Files.
That is a great trailer, thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteI think book trailers bring the book to life and definitely get people motivated to read them, especially students who need a little extra push to get excited about a book. Dan Gutman is a favorite! Genius Files looks like a lot of fun. Coke and Pepsi McDonald reminds me of a friend who told me she knew twins who were named Lemonjello and Orangejello. :)
ReplyDeleteThis trailer was great John! Funny thing is, my mother-in-law taught two children from China whose parents chose Coke and Pepsi for their "English names!" I am so looking forward to following your new blog! Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comments. I include at least one book trailer in every booktalk.Students respond well to them.
ReplyDeleteI'm still figuring out its organization I know one thing for sure,it will focus on book trailers and resources that go with the books. :)
Thank you for creating this blog. I love the first post and will share it with my students. They are Dan fans and will be so envious that he is visiting your school! I hope you keep the Twitter alerts coming too!
