Countdown, The Dreamer, One Crazy Summer, and Keeper
Confession: I cannot stop thinking about the 2011 Newbery Medal. I've had two Newbery Medal nightmares. The winner is announced and my body gives out. I look around the room--everyone is talking about how they knew it would win. I scream, "WHAT? I'VE NEVER HEARD OF THAT BOOK!!" Can you relate?
I predict librarians around the country will place a shiny Newbery sticker on one of these books.
