4 Authors + 2 Illustrators = A Fantastic Week
Anderson's Bookshop does not pay me to blog about them. Truth. This week, thanks to Anderson's, I met six award-winning children's book creators.

My students and I hosted brother-and-sister team Jennifer and Matthew Holm. They inspired 150 kids and a dozen teachers. Thank you!
I attended their evening presentation, too.
At least three hundred people attended Sarah Dessen's presentation and signing. She read from her new young adult book, What Happened to Goodbye.
Jeanne Birdsall is the National Book Award-winning novelist of The Penderwicks. She discussed The Penderwicks at Point Mouette and gave shout-outs to Lisa Yee, Annie Barrows, and Jarrett J. Krosoczka. She's a hoot!
Printz Award winner Walter Dean Myers and Caldecott Honor artist Christopher Myers discussed their latest collaboration, We Are America: A Tribute from the Heart.
Wow! What a book week. You must of had a blast.
