A Trip to Reading Reptile

Kansas City's Reading Reptile is an independent bookshop specializing in children's books. I've wanted to experience Reading Reptile since reading Esme Codell's blog post about her involvement in RR's DNA Children's Literature Festival.

I have tried finding the right words to describe this top-notch bookshop's awesomeness but, as you know, a picture is worth a thousand words.

I was drawn to the cupcake display.
