Welcome to the 2011-2012 School Year!

Yippee! Today is the first day of school. I spent the past two weeks preparing the library for this special day. I hope my students find the library inviting and comfortable. Here's to another year spent exploring, learning, and reading.

  8. Happy First Day of School, Mr. Schu! My favorite thing HAS to be the urinal-read-a-book signs. You need to get a female teacher to hang signs in the girls bathrooms too! That is BRILLIANT.

  9. Incredible and inspiring! Your kids are so so lucky to have you and your talents!

  11. That's it! I'm moving to Naperville and enrolling my kids! I mean, where else can you get a cool refreshing drink from the fountain while reading about When Life Gives You O.J.? Hey, is that an orange juice fountain? Doesn't matter... I'm sold.

  22. I see QR codes on some of your posters. Do you have the technology to allow kids to check out and place holds using the codes?
