Kevin Henkes will be at Anderson's Bookshop on 3/24



Dear Chicagoland:

Caldecott Medal-winning author and artist Kevin Henkes will be at Anderson's Bookshop on March 24, 2012. His new picture book, Penny and Her Song, will be released on February 28, 2012.


Take a peek inside his studio. You'll learn more about Kitten's First Full Moon and Lily. He even shows off his awesome typewriter.

    I'd never heard of Kevin Henkes before, but this is the second time today someone has posted about Penny and Her Song. Better get my pre-order in before everyone else does.

    I'm so glad he's gone back to his adorable mouse characters! I love Lilly, Wemberly, and Chrysanthemum and now I can add Penny to that lovable list. I can't make it to Anderson's but will pre-order this new book.
