Newbery Challenge: Invincible Louisa
Make sure you head over to Colby Sharp's blog to hear what he thinks of Invincible Louisa.
My goal is to snap a picture with every Newbery Medal winner.
I bet Travis Jonker (AKA Scope Notes) shed at least one tear when Picnik closed on April 19. He used Picnik and other photo-editing tools to create the cover on the right. Nice work, Scope!
I shot this video the day I checked out Invincible Louisa. A goose wanted to eat it.
Borrow Invincible Louisa from your school or public library. Whenever possible, please support independent bookshops.
I LOVE THAT BIRD VIDEO!!!! It was like Blair Witch Project with birds. I love it. So funny.
ReplyDeleteGlad you survived the Goose Encounter of 2012.
ReplyDeleteA sign you should be reading a book about geese... I'm waiting for you to get to 1941. My son just had to read Call it Courage for his language arts class, and since I hadn't read it I figured I should, too. Curious to know what you think.
