You have inspired the Henika District Library (home town of Travis Jonker's school) to celebrate this wonderful day. We invited 4 - 6th grade classes to walk to the library at different times to be read to by staff & the library board president. We also videotaped 11 (this number signifying the number of hours we are open today) community readers, reading their favorite picture book or excerpt from a favorite book. The videos were posted on our website via our library Youtube account and also released a video at the top of each hour for our Facebook followers. A fun day & we will be doing this again next year. Thanks for the heads up on this special day.
