I'm declaring Random House's Newbery video the BEST children's literature-related video of the year. I highly recommend spending four minutes and thirty-nine seconds learning about award-winning authors Jerry Spinelli (1991 Newbery Medal), Christopher Paul Curtis (2000 Newbery Medal), Lois Sachar (1999 Newbery Medal), Jennifer L. Holm (Three-time Newbery Honor winner), Kirby Larson (2007 Newbery Honor), Rebecca Stead (2010 Newbery Medal), and Clare Vanderpool (2011 Newbery Medal).
