Children's Book Week is NEXT Week
Matthew Winner is The Busy Librarian. Gwyneth Jones is The Daring Librarian. Debbie Alvarez is The Styling Librarian. Although I don't have a "The____Librarian" title, some days I think I should be called The Fickle Librarian. Why?

Newbery Honor-winning author Grace Lin designed the 2013 Children's Book Week bookmark.
The winners of the 2013 Children's Choice Book Awards will be announced on May 13. This year's presenters are Lisa Yee, Tomie dePaola, Henry Winkler, Lois Lowry, Meg Cabot, Katherine Applegate, Brian Selznick, and Walter Dean Myers. (Oh, how I wish I could attend this fabulous event.)
