The Newbery Challenge: The David Wiesner Edition

Dear Mr. Sharp, 

Happy Saturday! I hope your week went very well. I couldn't resist posting another bonus Newbery video. I realize it would make more sense to talk about David Wiesner during a Caldecott Challenge video. 

My students and I had a perfect afternoon with three-time Caldecott Medalist David Wiesner. You could feel and see everyone's enthusiasm today and during the weeks leading up to David Wiesner Day! They were excited, prepared, and talked nonstop about David's newest picture book, Mr. Wuffles! 

I hope you enjoy looking at the photographs and vines that I took during David Wiesner Day!
