Dear Reader,
I don't know about you, but I'm sad my Newbery series is over. I loved hearing directly from Kate DiCamillo, Holly Black, Kevin Henkes, Amy Timberlake, and Vince Vawter (AKA The Newbery Class of 2014). I hope to make this a yearly series.
I created an Animoto video for my students in order to share what reading means to these five talented writers. I hope you'll find a way to share it with your students, too. :)

I love this! I agree with all their thoughts. We are talking about "book love" in my library through February (and really every day) and this is perfect to share with students. Thanks.
