What's on the hold shelf?

A steady stream of smiling first graders visit the library every morning to pick up their holds. It gives them a chance to spend an extra minute or two in the library. I think Travis Jonker's friend, Guy I. Madeup, beautifully captures how I feel about the hold shelf: "A glimpse into the minds of young readers." :)
