Last Week Told Through Vines

SATURDAY 

I talked about The One and Only Ivan at the Illinois School Library Media Association's annual conference. Thank you to everyone who attended my session. Your smiling faces and positive attitudes made my weekend. 

FRIDAY 

I introduced Babymouse to three first-grade classes! Yay! 

THURSDAY 

My second graders read Lauren Castillo's The Troublemaker with Margie (AKA @LoveofXena). 

WEDNESDAY 

Corduroy showed up at my house on Tuesday. I took him on a tour of my school library on Wednesday. He fit right in with all of the other characters. 

TUESDAY 

Let the Mock Caldecott begin! 

MONDAY 

I bought additional copies of the 2015 Mock Caldecott candidates. 

SUNDAY 

I donated George in the Dark to Donna Kouri's Little Free Library.
