Author N. Griffin

If you live in the Midwest like I do, chances are you're reading this blog post while your teeth are chattering and you're dreaming of beaches and swimming pools. Think warm thoughts, my friends. Let's pretend you're reading my interview with author N. Griffin while you're lounging around in sunny Hawaii. Doesn't that sound nice? What are you drinking? Did you remember to put on sunscreen? What do you hear in the distance? :)

I wrote the words in red, and N. Griffin wrote the words in black. Thank you, N.!

Smashie McPerter’s class is hectic, but also earnest and friendly.

Mr. Carper is a rank narcissist who has no business having truck with children.

Kate Hindley’s illustrations are wonderful, perfect, lively and great! I am very lucky.

If I were a student in Room 11, I would love to be friends with Smashie and Dontel but I would also have a hard time with the hamster.

Read a sample chapter.

My dogs are wonderful, perfect, lively and great! They outnumber us, though, so I think that is a little bit on the nuts side.

School libraries are everything. My entire school life was centered around my school libraries and librarians, and I truly would not be who I am if it weren’t for them.

Reading is heaven. How else can you meet all these other people and learn about new ways to be a human?

Mr. Schu, you should have asked me what my favorite cookie is. Cookies are very important to me, and I love chocolate chip the best.
