Book Trailer Premiere: Anna, Banana, and the Friendship Split by Anica Mrose Rissi

Hello, fellow book lovers!

I’m tail-waggingly excited to present the trailer for Anna, Banana, and the Friendship Split, the first book in my debut chapter-book series. The series follows nine-year-old Anna as she navigates the challenges and adventures of third-grade best friendship, with a little help from her wiener dog, Banana. 

From its silliest jokes to its most heartfelt moments, this book was a lot of fun to write. I can’t wait for readers to meet Anna and Banana (and see more of Meg Park’s adorable illustrations) on May 5th!

Anica Mrose Rissi grew up on an island off the coast of Maine, where she read a lot of books and loved a lot of pets. She now tells and collects stories, makes up songs on her violin, and eats lots of cheese with her friends in Brooklyn, New York, where she lives with her dog, Arugula.
