A Virtual Author Visit Giveaway with Lisa M. Bakos

When you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, there's just no getting around it:  the porcupine under your covers will insist on snuggling (oww); penguins will make bubbles in your bath (eww); and a crocodile will probably need to borrow your toothbrush (no, thanks!). It’s just going to be that sort of day.

Unless, that is, you decide to do something about it.

In The Wrong Side of the Bed, (Penguin Random House, March 2016; illustrated by Anna Raff) a whimsical assortment of mischief making animals are here to inspire readers to turn their all-wrong days into all-right ones.

Lisa M. Bakos, author of The Wrong Side of the Bed, is excited to offer a Skype classroom visit for grades K-2 as well as provide a signed copy of her book in advance of the virtual visit. During this virtual visit, Lisa hopes to empower readers to always look on the bright side, even on their rainiest of days. Lisa will also give a sneak peek into her second picture book Too Many Moose! (Sourcebooks, July 2016; illustrated by Mark A. Chambers) as well as address the following must-need-to-know questions: How does an idea becomes a book? Why is reading so important? And most importantly, can chickens read? The answers to these and many more questions will be revealed as Lisa spends 30 minutes with K-2 students during a Skype virtual classroom visit.

Students should know that Lisa often has cold feet because she lives with an assortment of snugglers and a caboodle of cover hogs, including but not limited to her husband, three kids, two dogs, and three cats. In her spare time, she's a rider of horses and wrangler of chickens."

Rules for the Giveaway
