Book Trailer Premiere: Just Add Glitter by Angela DiTerlizzi and Samantha Cotterill

Hello, Angela DiTerlizzi! Welcome back to Watch. Connect. Read.! It is always a super day when you visit.  What should everyone do before watching Just Add Glitter’s book trailer?

Angela: Put on your shades, because we really brought the bling for this one.

How will you celebrate Just Add Glitter’s book birthday on October 9, 2018?

Angela: I’m so excited to be embarking on my first ever national tour! It’s looking like I will be sparkling in San Francisco on the day that Just Add Glitter hits shelves. I can’t think of any better way to celebrate the launch than talking with a crowd full of kids about creativity, imagination, and inspiration.

What's your favorite thing to do with glitter?

Angela: Buy it, glue it, wear it, and share it! Oh, and eat it. I just tried my first glitter-covered chocolate truffle. (It was delicious, by the way.)

Samantha Cotterill’s illustrations are literally a dream come true for me. We had been looking for an illustrator for quite some time, then one night I dreamt of a version of the book filled with 3-D illustrations, piled high with real glitter. Two days later, as if she had read my mind, Lauren Rille, Beach Lane art director extraordinaire, showed me Sam’s work—and it was perfect!

Look for Just Add Glitter on October 9, 2018.
