Book Trailer Premiere: Edison: The Mystery of the Missing Mouse Treasure by Torben Kuhlmann

Author-illustrator Torben Kuhlmann dropped by to chat with me about Edison: The Mystery of the Missing Mouse Treasure's phenomenal book trailer, mice, picture books, and school libraries. I wrote the words in purple, and he wrote the words in black. Many thanks, Torben!

Edison: The Mystery of the Missing Mouse Treasure’s book trailer is a short love letter to the great adventure movie trailers of the past.

Did you know that there are untold stories behind almost every great invention in history?

Lindbergh - The Tale of a Flying Mouse and Armstrong - The Adventurous Journey of a Mouse to the Moon are the first chapters of an expanding world full of adventurous mice. And everything started with such a tiny idea: A mouse learning to fly. Every day, I am very happy and thankful, that my first book “Lindbergh” was picked up by a publisher and is now read by so many people around the world.

Mice are inconspicuous, but should not be underestimated!

Picture books are an incredible medium for storytelling.

School libraries are places where a kid’s imagination can soar!

Mr. Schu, you should have asked me what Edison’s secret actually is. Now, everyone has to read the book to find out! ;)
